Two of our favorite Tibetan pendants are strung on a hand woven turquoise bead necklace. The Tibetan horn is made of water buffalo bone while the Buddha on bodhi leaf pendant is sterling silver.
A note about bone pieces: Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat. Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food nothing is wasted. These amazing bone pieces are hand inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.
*Each piece is unique so each horn may vary slightly in design as shown.
Tibetan horn pendant is natural so sizes vary between 2 and 2 1/2 inches. The Buddha pendant measures 1 1/4 inches. Chain measures 30 inches and contains a lobster clasp with turquoise beads.
