Blended metal cast bowl with copper painted Manjushri beautifully set on the inside. Outside has the mantra of compassion running around the full circumference. A double dorje anchors the very bottom.
Manjushri is a Bodhisattva who represents wisdom, and his mantra also symbolizes that quality. The mantra of compassion invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, who is the embodiment of compassion. Symbolically, a dorje represents the 'thunderbolt of enlightenment.' Once "enlightened," the observer can detach from the personal importance of money, romance, food and even life itself.
Measures approximately 4 inches diameter. Handmade in Nepal by skilled metal workers.
